Money raised could be towards club funds and/or charity.
We have postponed this until September

In the first gala Mold (180 points) came a commendable 2nd place to Wrexham (205) ahead of Buckley (166), Connah's Quay (109) and Flint (66). The atmosphere was really good and confirmed the importance of this league.

10th February
The North East Wales Swimming Association AGM was well attended this year. Information on the news page.
The association has reverted back to being East Clwyd League (ECL) with three senior league gala's and three junior gals's. Unfortunately, Holywell have resigned so we are down to 5 clubs at the moment.
The first senior gala is to be on 5th March at Connah's Quay

4th & 5th December
Several of our swimmers took part in the Swim Wales North Sub Regional Championships. There were some great swims, results of which can be found on our competitions page.

24th November
A successful AGM was held before the snow arrived at the Plas Hafod Hotel.
There were a few changes to the committee as detailed on the contacts page and in the members area.

13th-15th November
The club championships went very well with the swimmers producing plenty of PBs (personal bests). Records were also broken.

31st October
In the 3rd and final round of this years Deva League the team put in another good overall performance to finish 4th again on the night resulting in a 4th position overall. It was an interesting experience for most of the swimmers in the old Crewe pool being a 33 yard (approximately 30m).
Congratulations to Satellite (Macclesfield) who won the cup as Champions for 2010 and commiserations to 5th place Wellington, relegated to the second division.
We will be joined by either Northwich or Oswestry next year depending on their fortunes on 20th November.
Well done to all the swimmers who took part in this years league galas. Plenty of hard work is needed to ensure we can do even better next year.
(Results now available on competitions page)

24th October
Will Fisher, Moira and Matthew Singleton attended the first workshop of the Team Managers Training at Oriel House Hotel. This is a Swim Wales run coarse and is intended to give Mold Swimming Club volunteers the skills required to be on poolside with our swimmers.

17th October
Good luck to Charlotte Bryan, Aled Davies & Tom Clarke who will be representing the East Wales squad at the British Gas County Team Championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield on Sunday. In previous years, the country has been split North and South, but this year a new structure has been adopted being East and West.
Also, best of luck to all the swimmers that will be travelling to Chester on Sunday for the 2nd round of the Deva League.
(Results now available on competitions page)

4th October
The members area of the website has a new password. If you haven't got the new details yet, contact a member of the committee or the webmaster

2nd October
NEWSA Championships at Holywell (Results available on competitions page)
17 of the clubs swimmers took part in the annual North East Wales Swimming Association Championships. There were numerous medals won including 43 top 3 places. 6 of the swimmers got Age Group Champion awards (Charlotte Bryan, Megan Roberts, Matthew Singleton, Tom Clarke, Thomas Rushforth and Morgan Roberts)

25th September
The North East Wales Swimming Association Fun Relay Gala was held at Holywell. Unfortunately it was only attended by Mold and Holyell teams, but the swimmers enjoyed themselves (especially the younger ones that turned out). Thanks must go out to those adults and helpers that managed to organise the competitors on a difficult evening!!

19th September
Congratulations to all that took part in the first round of the Deva League, who had a long day travelling to Wrekin College near Telford. They met some stiff opposition but performed very well and managed to finish 4th out of the five teams.
